They imitated the speech of an elderly man and, instead of saying “Mi hermano” (my brother), they would say “Marmano.” They would constantly hug each other affectionately. \nTheir costumes were covered in patches and the occasional strip, imitating tears. Over time, the costume changed because now, instead of patches, there were strips. \nAt one point, without knowing exactly who it was, they incorporated a “torito” into the dance, which they found and entangled with vines, grass, or weeds on its horns. Most of them brought grass, calling it; others herded, bullfought, and lassoed it. All this commotion was accompanied by wind instruments playing carnival tunes.\nIn the 1930s, there was a unique change, and costumes made from old and unusable clothing were added. Some made hats from old mats, and the masks continued to be made from the skins of small animals such as opossums, raccoons, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, goats, and others. \nThey added a long, bag-shaped cloth nose filled with sawdust or pieces of cloth about the size of two sausages. Those in costume were offered masa and goat barbacoa for lunch. \nSource: Prof. Rodolfo Cruz Herrera\n\nTo create these beautiful pieces, we use semi-precious stones such as aventurine, agate, and gold plated. \n\nCold clay, also known as cold porcelain, is a modeling clay that dries in the air and does not require baking in an oven. It is flexible, malleable, and easy to work with, similar to plasticine, making it ideal for crafts, decoration, and artistic creations. It is mainly composed of ingredients such as cornstarch and vinyl glue, and is used to make figures, sculptures, jewelry, and decorations.\n\nPlease note that colors, textures, designs, sizes, etc., may vary slightly from the original product shown.
